Made from curtain trimming, alpaca wool, plastic and clay.

Feet planted in mounds that resemble termite hills. Hills that legend accompanies in other places. Not here. Elsewhere you would be warned against disturbing the nuno, (an old man who resides in the mound). Although not on the continent to which we imagine these objects belong. Tightly wrapped in threads of Alpaca, they seem to spring from South American lands: Made on a mountain in Peru, a jungle in Ecuador, or any such exotic place.

But really they were made at a wooden desk somewhere in South London- and all of the magic of their origin and history really comes from you.
